Carrie was hungry for something... something more than food. A new experience. A chance to poise the pen while she preheated the oven. She needed a way back into the world.

After “retiring” to become a stay-at-home mom to two young children, she found she had lost her way—and her ability to interact with adults. Poet in the Pantry was born from this hunger, this need to be an adult again and use those brain cells for more than ABCs and “open wide.” It’s been a delicious journey ever since.
