My name is Kevin and I am a School Based Resource Teacher, currently working at an elementary school in Vernon, BC.

My family and I recently moved here from Alberta, where I worked as a Learning Coach for the past 16 years.

I started my career working in high school, supporting students with behavioral needs, as well as students with significant cognitive disabilities. This experience helped me understand the individuality of every student… how every student has strengths and needs that are unique.

About 7 years ago, I had the opportunity to switch to working in an elementary setting. I felt like this change would be an opportunity to help students experience success in their earliest years. The change to elementary school was so enriching (albeit completely overwhelming) and I haven't looked back!

I am passionate about inclusion and supporting teachers as they build inclusive environments, where every student belongs and can find success.
