A consultant, educator, clinical informatics practitioner and pharmacist currently living in the Western Massachusetts area.

John has spent the last umteen years of his life recovering from the addiction of clinical decision support and implementing clinical informatic solutions. This oft-times quixotic journey to improve the quality of healthcare and medication therapy has taken him from the bowels of hospital basement pharmacies to multiple start-ups, hallowed halls of academia, and on to his latest adventure, a clinical decision support venture - Avhana Health. It was sold to the digital therapeutics leader AmalgamRx, where he continues as and clinical informatics director. Humbly, he has found himself in a few Pharmacy Director and Clinical Informatics Director positions at leading medical centers. A Doctor of Pharmacy by training with mostly impractical clinical skills, he believes he can ski with the best of them, cycle with Cat 4 chumps and loves the outdoors.
