Christopher Pokarier

I am an Australian professor of business and governance at Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan. I have research interests in the cultural and creative industries, mobility and security, nationalism, and university internationalization. I live long-term in Tokyo but am currently on sabbatical for a year in Israel, at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. My main hobbies are my kids, photography, snowboarding, a clean sea, cooking, and savouring all the art, books, architecture and music I can find the time to experience. In short, I am lucky, happy, grateful and never bored.
