Polly Jean Turrentine

Polly Jean Turrentine is the name I was given however, most people call me PJ. I'm from a tiny town called Elkin nestled between the Foothill Mountains of North Carolina. I lived there for eighteen years of my life. I graduated early from Elkin High School as valedictorian. I adored school, my friends and my family. However I had an itch to get out of my small town and see the world. So, when I graduated early I took advantage of my mother's retirement benefits through Delta, saved up money, and flew standby all over the globe. However traveling has not been my only blessing; I have had the privilege of being one out of four children. Two older brothers and one older sister, all of which have completely different personalities. The great advantage of being the caboose is learning from many of their shortcomings and mistakes. My oldest brother Jake is so determined. I have inherited "the eye of the tiger" from him. He holds high standards for me. Joe is a horse of a different color. He's is very laid back, and social. He's taught me how to kick back and have fun once in a while: I tend to relax more than I should, but so does my sister, Mary Ann. Mary Ann should have been born in the seventies. She is one of the most free-spirited people I've ever met. From her, I've learned you don't have to fit in a mold to be successful.
