Paolo A. Ponchielli

I was born in Chiavenna ( Sondrio ) Italy, this is the last town before getting into Switzerland north of Milano, my family is originally from Cremona Italy but they moved into Milano Italy in the late 1800. My Great Grand Father was an opera composer, but I don't have any musical skill, I became a Lawyer to please my father, because his father and him were Lawyers and Notary Public that in Italy are like the Business and Finance lawyers. After the law school I joined a friend of mine that was in the Shoes Export business and started to travel to North, Central, South America and the Caribbean selling Italian shoes, later I started selling also Spanish, Brazilian,Argentinian and Chilean shoes; eventually I moved to the USA were I started working for one of the largest Leather companies in the World, Leather's best, Inc. from were I resign and started my own business, Milford Enterprises, Inc and became one of the 3 larger Leather, Accessories and Machinery suppliers to the small Leather goods and Belts industry of the USA. In 1999 I started, with a Chinese friend from Hong Kong, a company in China but eventually due to the constant travelling and for longer period I decided to sell my shares to my partner in China and retire from my business in the USA due to the fact that almost all the important business had moved to China. Moved to Trinidad & Tobago were my wife is from and live there since 2004.
