Jeffrey Pontillas is award winning international educator , multifaceted professional, celebrated for his dedication to education, creativity, and personal growth. With over 10 years of teaching experience, he has made a significant impact both in the Philippines and the United States. In the Philippines, he earned recognition as an Outstanding Teacher, Learning Facilitator, Writer, and Speaker in the Leyte Division, reflecting his skill in engaging students and promoting innovative learning. After moving to Montana in 2021, he continued his teaching career, earning 2nd Place in the Montana Memory Project Contest and becoming a 2024 nominee for Outstanding Favorite Teacher by Reader’s Digest—proof of his continued excellence and commitment to education.

Beyond the classroom, Jeffrey is a man of many talents. He has received offers to work as a professional model, which he turned down to remain dedicated to his teaching career. Nevertheless, he nurtures his artistic side through photography, dancing, and drawing, often combining his creative pursuits with his passion for inspiring others. His love for performance and self-expression shows his confidence and ability to engage people both on and off stage.

Jeffrey’s educational journey reflects his commitment to learning and excellence. He started as a Deserving and Aspirant student at Gabaldon Central School and Notre Dame of Abuyog, completed his undergraduate studies at Leyte Normal University, and earned a master’s degree from Naval State University. This strong academic foundation, paired with his natural leadership and vision, allows him to continually inspire those around him.

Aside from teaching, he loves to travel in different parts of the world.
