Started making ice right off the get go. At partys we arealways running out of ice for our guests but with this we can start making icein the morning and never run out at partys.
My new portable stainless steel icemaker is a wonderful addition to my kitchen. No more ice cube trays tobother with, and I, and my whole family, are very pleased with my new icemaker. Overall - we are very pleased with the Smart+ ice maker.
It's easy to set up and you basically just pour some waterinto it and you will have ice in about 10 minutes. You can also set the size ofyour ice cubes, which is pretty neat! I had about 20 guests over the course ofseveral hours and never ran out of ice.
Really enjoy my ice maker. I would recommend for adding alittle extra ice to a party and not having to go grab bags from the store.
I must have gotten a defective ice maker b/c it only made 3cubes at a time out of the 9 it should've made. I am so disappointed that thisdidn't work out and it just wasted my time and energy. I am still hopeful basedon the reviews i saw on youtube.
Only one thing-- make yourself available to transfer icefrom this ice maker to the freezer, or it will melt. Still, a handy thing, andI love the bullet ice.
It fits under our counter and keeps us in ice a lot betterthan our ice maker in our refrigerator did. I would highly recommend this icemaker if you need a good one for your home.
I purchased the NewAir ice maker and used it a few timeswhen it stopped making ice. I returned the NewAir according to their shippingdirections and received a replacement ice maker.
I had an Emerson ice makerbefore this one and it worked fine but broke after 3 years. This one is fasterand makes better cubes. I'm glad the other one broke so I could get this one.
Worked well when it was working. A shame ...
This thing is a work horse, If it fills up, after a while itmelts the cubes down and makes more so you always have ice.
