Playing Dungeons and Dragons in Clinton Corners, NY

We have a new Ko-Fi! Consider supporting us at www.ko-fi.com/porkfrieddice. We'll be forever grateful!

Pork Fried Dice is an actual-play Dungeons and Dragons podcast where we try to tell a compelling story, but have fun doing it. That is to say, we take the story seriously, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously.

The podcast is owned by Eric (the DM who also played Nick) and KT (Will), a couple of married buffoons who live in NY state.

Whenever we think of D&D, we think of the times we played in college. Back then, we got together with a bunch of actor and artist friends who loved creating things, but also loved making each other laugh. We’re total suckers for an epic story and Game of Thrones-style drama, but we’re also head over heels for, say, the grooviest of hams Bruce Campbell making wild eyes while fighting skeletons with a chainsaw and sword in Army of Darkness.

Lucky for us, our awesome cast feels the same way.

Our goal is to have a show where our listeners feel like they are at the table with us. We don’t make in-jokes from our normal lives - and if we do, you’ll never hear them, because we edit that shit out. Or you’ll get the full back story, whether or not you want to. We are a roleplay-heavy podcast, because we like character interaction, but we’re also a group of people that make crude jokes, anachronistic references, and godawful (or clever, if you’re into that kind of thing) puns.

So if all that sounds good to you, please join us! We try to play once a week, and we almost always release an episode on Mondays. We use profanity, so if you’re into protecting children from that, don’t listen as a family. And if you’d like to reach out to us, we’d really love to hear from you.
