I have a passion for computers and networks. Since I was a child, I have been fascinated with computers, the internet, and technology. That fascination has developed into what some might see as an obsession, as I constantly surround myself with gadgets and tinker away on a PC in my spare time. Even while attending college at California State University Fullerton, I was the student that walked around with a modified GPS device in my hand (as I am also an avid geocacher) and a homemade soldering kit in my backpack, with my face buried in the newest edition of PC Magazine.

With a BS degree in Information Systems, I have a full understanding of PC troubleshooting and resolution, server maintenance, and implementation of new technologies.

In addition, my experience in the IT field includes the following achievements:

-Wrote in-depth, interactive SOP documents for common IT department practices, reducing the overall response time on department service tickets.

-Programmed and initiated an automated batch file on company servers to resolve print spooler issues, reducing printer-related tickets and cutting company overhead costs by approximately $5,000 every year.

-Generated a dynamic ticket metrics report and evaluation on a weekly basis, which allowed the IT department to resolve recurring support issues and resulted in a steady reduction of support tickets from over 600 tickets per month in August 2013 to approximately 300 tickets per month by January 2014.

-Designated as the project manager for the IT department by the Chief Information Officer in July 2013.
