Portia Mokowe

Krugersdorp South Africa

I began my career at Orgella online – an entertainment website where I was a feature writer and attended events and covered them for the website. I then moved on with freelance work for another website just curious where I wrote an article for them. I continued to land an internship at Livity Africa where I was entrusted with different roles and responsibilities during my stay there such as journalist, distributor, social media manager, event planner and eventually I was the Johannesburg editor of the publication.

After leaving Livity to seek corporate experience I then worked briefly at communications company Mikha communications where I did general administration and communications duties. I now work for Bona magazine as a digital assistant.
