Felix Portnoy

Felix is a PhD student in the School of Information Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His academic interests lie in human-computer interaction research. Specifically, he investigates the users' perception of online ad banners and search behavior to ensure that customers are able to achieve their goals effectively, efficiently, and enjoy their interaction with computer interfaces. In the industry, he has worked as a User Experience/Human Factors Researcher in a variety of domains: Internet, Healthcare, Process Control, and Wireless Communication. His previous employers include: Honeywell, T-Mobile, and Google.
