Nick Carter

I am a former submariner and 'soldier of fortune' now settled in the beautiful county of Devon.

Having travelled the world's oceans plying my trade as a marine engineer on diesel/electric and nuclear powered submarines, I now explore the wiles of the South West on my Triumph Speedmaster, or hold up the traffic with the caravan.

I enjoy listening to music and I get a real kick from studying history and tasting fine malt whisky.

I would love to be a guitar hero like Brian May or Joe Bonamassa or Stevie Ray Vaughn, but like my desire to represent my country in international rugby, I know that this will never happen, but we can all have dreams. I can play something that resembles 'Otherside' by the Red Hot Chilli Peppers so I'm getting somewhere.

I'm rubbish at offering people a cup of tea or coffee so just come right out and ask!
