Nathan Poss

I am a student at Central Valley High School. I am a freshman and I am a part of the Nebraska High School Rodeo Association. I compete in Team Roping and Calf Roping and play football at Central Valley. I maintain an A-B average in school. I also have three other siblings. A brother and two sisters. I also like to work with cattle and horses.

I plan to attend a four year college and get my bachelor degree in animal science. I don't really know where I am going to go but there are many places I have in mind. My goal is also to rodeo in college and make the College National Finals Rodeo.

After college I will see how my rodeo career goes. My dream is to make it to the National Finals in Las Vegas and win the world. Eventually I will settle down and help at home with our pure bred cattle operation, Poss Angus.

My family operates about 600 head of cattle and we have an annual production sale on the last Friday of March. We sell about 200 head of bulls and 40 head of heifers. That is the highlight of my family's year.

I am very blessed to have great friends and family. I know I am capable of doing anything I put my mind to and that is why I am so excited for my future. I'm a true believer that hard work leads to success and by doing that anybody can go a log way.
