Catherine "Povs" Povinelli

Catherine "Povs" Povinelli is a Chicago based stand-up comedian, writer and actress. A native New Yorker who studied overseas, Catherine holds writing and performance credits from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Camden Fringe Festival and She Devil Comedy Festival. She was a Funny Women's New Comedian of the Year Semi-Finalist and is also a founding member of the YouTube channel "The Hard Comedy." Catherine recently wrote and produced the upcoming web series "Super Narcoleptic Girl" along with her co-creator Sarah Albritton. You can see the official trailer for Super Narcoleptic Girl here.

Catherine holds a Masters of Performance from the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts (ALRA) in London, England and her Bachelors of Arts from Hofstra University, New York.
