Having attended over 700 lectures at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) without being in official attendance and then developing many innovations at the University of Sussex, he continues to remain at the forefront of high-innovation with many institutions in varying capacities, working with them in automotive safety departments.

Preston-Powers holds the position of CEO at Cool Technologies Limited and is founder of the multipurpose platform Deep Innovation Group, which has developed hundreds of blast mitigation technologies currently in use in deployed assets of militaries around the world.
