Eric (me!) & Hema Bulmer founded Pow!Science! in 2003, performing Science Birthday Parties & School Enrichment Programs all over Rhode Island.

Since then we've grown Pow!Science! into Rhode Island's greatest online and brick & mortar destination for Science & Educational Toys, School Enrichment Programs, Workshops & yes, we're still doing Birthday Parties!

I've been getting kids to "do science" one way or another since I started student teaching in 1991. In 1994 I joined the United States Peace Corps as a Science Teacher, which is where I met and married my wonderful wife Hema, a Nepali National. We returned the US in 1998 and after 5 years of classroom teaching, Pow!Science! was born...and we've been going strong every since.
