Currently, I am a doctoral scholar at Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, India, and my research topic looks at contested boundaries, identity, and nation-state building from the perspective of subaltern communities. I have a master of philosophy degree and a work experience of four years in civil socities and government department. I was a Dalai Lama Fellow of the 2012-13 and obtained Endeavour Scholarship to Australia in the year 2009-10. I am from Tamil Nadu, a federal state of India.
