Hello, I’m Prabhnoor. I’m a student living in Troy, MI. I am a fan of food, dance, and hang out with frends. I’m also interested in exploring and cooking. You can view my portfolio with a click on the button above.

My passion has always been dance. Now I understand that this may sound a bit cliche but its a bit different from the rest of the sappy dance is lite my family stories. Im dedicated to an Indian (specifically Punajbi) form of dance called Bhangra. Bhangra was always surrounding me growing up: my family, culture, and just my environment that I was raised in allowed me to become immersed into this art-form. I remember the first time I realized that I wanted to do bhangra, I was watching a comp in D.C and realized that this is what I want to invest my time into, but due to the new enforcement that I was growing up in I wasn’t given the opportunity to practice until I moved to where I currently am in Troy Michigan. I was astonished and had a major culture shock when I came here. I was even more ecstatic when I found out about IASA. Which is better known as the Indian American student association, is a cultural club at troy high school in which students emerge and become in touch with their culture, ultimately by expressing it through the art of dance. What amazed me was that this club is that every student no matter what race they are or how much experience they have they are all given an equal opportunity to learn new skills. I saw an opportunity and I took it, eventually after my freshman year I became choreographer which challenge me in many ways but ultimately made me a better person. My role as the choreographer showed me how much patience, dedication, along with leadership skills were needed to succeed. I was entrusted with the task of teaching sixty students a new art-form while juggling the tasks of collecting money for costumes, renting out spaces to practice, and lastly overall executing this while managing my junior year work.In whole this passion of mine has transformed me into the person I am today and I honestly don’t know what I would be like without this part of my life.
