Pradip Ghosh

The co-author of nearly 50 research papers in peer-reviewed journals, prominent physical therapist and lecturer Pradip Ghosh began an extensive academic route at the University of Calcutta in India in 1971. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science, he enrolled in the school’s graduate division and graduated with top honors and a Master of Science in Physiology. Ghosh remained there to procure to a PhD in Physiology and subsequently fulfilled several local teaching appointments, including Assistant Professor at City College of Calcutta (currently City College, Kolkata) and the Maharaja Manindra Chandra College in Kolkata. Throughout the 1980s, Pradip Ghosh consistently received recognition for his talents, including a travel award from the International Society of Endocrinology that allowed his participation in the 7th International Congress of Endocrinology in Quebec City, Canada. In 1988, Ghosh obtained a postdoctoral fellowship from The Rockefeller Foundation and ultimately relocated to the United States to pursue research. As a research fellow at Southern Illinois University Carbondale from 1989 to 1993, Ghosh worked independently and alongside other academics and conducted research that led to eight published scientific papers. Ghosh continued on his quest for knowledge as a researcher in The Ohio State University’s Division of Endocrinology.

Today, Pradip Ghosh wears a number of hats within the medical community. He works with patients coping with neurological disorders in improving day-to-day functionality, he serves as President of physical therapy education center The Learning and Training Center, he acts as Associate Professor at Maryville University in St. Louis, and he travels the globe offering lectures. Pradip Ghosh’s presentations and findings have appeared at symposiums including the World Confederation of Physical Therapy Congress, the Annual Meeting of The Endocrine Society, and the Annual Meeting of the Society for Basic Urologic Research. Ghosh resides in Chesterfield, Missouri. Also an avid athlete, he enjoys playing cricket and baseball.
