In the design industry of India, designers seldom have direct contact with clients as they tend to be focused entirely on their work rather than creating visual experiences for the average consumer. There is always a middleman involved that brings the information in the way he sees useful and so may interpret in a different form from what the consumers want and the designer finally produces. Right from my childhood I loved to sketch starting from everyday items, automobiles to certain creative and innovative ideas.

I am Pradipta Deb, have completed my B.Tech in Software Engineering at SRM University, Chennai in July 2017. Currently I am currently undergoing Specialisation course on CGPD in Maya Institute of Advance Cinematics (MAAC), Surat. Apart from my current discipline, I am well versed with designing, illustration, sketching and various other subjects related to the field. As I was initially unaware of designing and the challenges it involved, I found it quite interesting, but as I progressed I found myself building skills and learning to judiciously apply what I have learned all along. At the same time, I began working off-time for several college groups as a designer for certain innovative projects in an attempt to learn and develop practical experience in designing real world projects. In addition to designing, any person today needs to have a great deal of team work and I was fortunate to refine my team playing and leadership skills during this time. Perhaps one of the most valuable aspects of my education was the opportunity to develop these skills and learn to share and mutually develop ideas with others.

Despite the great talent in Designing in the country, there are few globally recognized names there. I have long believed that design industry in this country suffers not from a lack of talent, but from a dearth of complete planning and management. Therefore, I firmly believe that I can contribute my efforts to become one of the top designers in the world and in a way contribute to push forward the Design Industry in the country and once again mark India on the Designing map of the world.
