was promoted by Nadkarni family. The company was started in the year 1985 with the name “Vanaprabha”. The name was changed to "Paladin Paints" in the year 2000. Paladin’s strength is in developing novel, innovative, speciality, green technology, cost effective resins & diluents.

Mr. Nadkarni was 1st Technical Director of Asian Paints in 1950’s. He is the first person who started manufacturing alkyd resins in India.

From the year 1960-1994, Mr. Nadkarni was main share holder & Technical Director of M/s. Bombay Paints Ltd. which was in collaboration with M/s. Hempel Marine Paints of Denmark. In this period, Mr. Nadkarni developed various protective & marine paints formulations to suit the specific end use.

Paladin has invested large amount of sum in Resin R&D Laboratory, Instruments, Equipments & People. The Lab is headed under able guidance of Dr. Barde who has more than 30 years of experience in Organic & Polymer chemistry.
