An experienced engineer and business leader, Prasad Rampalli holds a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur in India and a master of science in industrial engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington. After earning his master’s degree, he accepted an engineering position with the Intel Corporation’s Technology Manufacturing Group in Phoenix, Arizona. Prasad Rampalli remained with Intel for the next 27 years, assuming a range of senior management and transformation roles across Factory Automation, Intel IT and ultimately leaving the company as vice president and general manager of end-user platforms with the Intel Architecture Group in Sacramento, California.
Prasad's next role as a senior vice president was to seed and scale a leading global solutions capability at EMC and thereby enable accelerated revenue through differentiated end-user value.
Prasad Rampalli most recently served as president, chief executive officer, and board member with Qlogic in Aliso Viejo, California, where he instituted a number of transformative strategies. During his time with the storage and data networking company, Mr. Rampalli increased year-over-year growth by 13 percent and boosted earnings per share by 17 percent.
