Prashanth Thinakaran

I am senior PhD student at Penn State, working on making datacenter systems power and performance efficient. I interned as performance engineer at Intel and VMware. In my spare time I spend my time contributing to open source projects on Github.

I used work as a Senior Research trainee in the High Performance Computing Division, (Vishwakarma) at WAran Research FoundaTion, India (www.warftindia.org). I am interested in studying High Performance Networks, Heterogenous computing architectures, Tweaking Compilers to evaluate HPC, Cycle Accurate Simulations of High Performance Architectures and its scalability to cluster level.
