I think that technologies are morally neutral until we apply them. It's only when we use them for good or for evil that they become good or evil.

Watch your thoughts; they become words.
Watch your words; they become actions.
Watch your actions; they become habits.
Watch your habits; they become character.
Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.
