Pratanu Banerjee (Bengali: প্রতনু ব্যানার্জী) is an Indian Music Teacher, Reiki Grandmaster, English and French Language teacher, Anthropology, Hospital Administration teacher and pitman shorthand trainer. Pratanu works as a Music teacher and Reiki Healer at Institute of Performing Art and Mind Power Development. As a music teacher, he teaches keyboard, harmonica, flute, spanish guitar and music therapy.
Early days
Born and brought up in Calcutta, Pratanu completed his schooling from Cossipore English School (Class X) and St. Thomas Church School (Class 2 to 9). He did his graduation in Anthropology B. Sc. Hons from Bangabasi College, Kolkata.
Career
Pratanu’s initiation in music was mainly through Mr. Tarak Roy who was associated with Music Composer Sudhin Dasgupta. He had taught Keyboard for 10 years. He had also taught Harmonica for 1 year to Pratanu banerjee.
After working in Medical Transcription field for 6 years, he started working as a freelance Content Writer at Upwork. He worked in Upwork for 4 years. Then he worked at World Yoga Society for 1 year. Then he worked at Passionate Futurist Solutions Private limited for 5 years as a Business Developer. He had also worked for Sahara India for one day as a Freelance Stenographer for one day. He got the brilliant opportunity to work for Subrata Roy as a stenographer for one day. He had got one complete suit, lunch and Rs. 500 for one day assignment near a halll at Science City, EM Bypass, Kolkata.
