Pratik Gajane
Chennai, India
I'm a grad student in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. I work under the guidance of Dr. B.Ravindran in Machine Learning and Reinforcement Learning.
Research interets:
My research interests span across Machine Learning, Reinforcement Learning, Algorithmic learning theory and Robotics. I seek to understand how an intelligent agent "learns" from its interactions with the environment. How is it done? How can we model the interactions in a better way so as to make learning efficient? Which strategies can be used to learn? What are the computational issues in doing this efficiently and in real-time? These are the sort of questions that I am trying to find the answers of.
The current major theme of my research is multi-armed bandit problems.
