My fondest memories are surrounded by food, or more accurately my family and I surrounding food. Holidays, special occasions, family reunions and the gathering of the family for dinner all had food as a central element. The expression of love represented by presenting food to others is profound. Meeting the most basic of human needs in a way that is pleasing to the eye, stimulating to the palate is a tremendous gift. A gift my parents and grandparents provided to me throughout my life. My goal with Homestead Eats is to help others give this gift to their family and friends through nutritious, delicious homestead style food for all occasions.
