So, you want to know more about me?
I learned how to drive a stick shift because my sister needed to put her eyelineron before we got to school-true story!
I am proud to admit that I am one of those people that can touch my nose with my tongue. So proud that I would gladly show you if you ask. ;)
If I had the luxury of not needing an income, I would be a stay at home mom and spend the days exposing my children to educational opportunities. Since I do need an income, I spend my days at school providing this opportunity to kids that I cherish, but who are not my own.
I always loved being able to get the one right answer in math class, but I loved reading with equal passion. Grammar came easy for me and teaching allowed me to work in both of these areas. I set the goal of being a teacher when I was in 1st grade. Although I considered other careers, I always felt that I was being called back to teaching.I love teaching. While I am in the front of the room, I cannot imagine wanting to have any other career in the world. (Don't ask how I feel when I have read 28 research papers and have 23 left to read!) My students inspire me and I hope to inspire them.
