Pratyay Milind
Cyber Security Student in Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Hello, my interests span from technology to information security. I am a cybersecurity student at Curtin University with an eLearnSecurity Junior Penetration Tester (eJPT) certification. Previously, I interned at the Dubai Electronic Security Center (DESC), where I deepened my expertise in the field. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and continually learning from the global security community.
My experience includes conducting web application penetration tests for various clients, utilizing comprehensive methodologies based on the NIST SP 800-115 Technical Guide to Information Security Testing and Assessment, OWASP TestingGuide (v4), and customized testing frameworks. I have successfully identified and reported vulnerabilities on over 200 websites, including high-profile corporate and government sites like TripAdvisor and the US Department of Defense. This expertise was further recognized when I won the 100 Days Challenge 2023, hosted by the Dubai Cyber Innovation Park, for developing a solution to combat WebShell vulnerabilities in IT servers. Additionally, my skills were showcased in the Dubai Police CTF 2023, where I achieved 2nd place in the University Track.
In addition to my technical skills, I have served as a Teaching Assistant on Cybrary, assisting instructors in developing course content and creating study guides, glossaries, and quizzes. My commitment to cybersecurity is evident in both my professional and competitive achievements.
You can book an appointment with me to discuss your organization's security posture. Leveraging my knowledge and experience in penetration testing and success in recent cybersecurity competitions, I am well-equipped to help identify and prevent vulnerabilities using industry-standard frameworks.
