Peter S

When I write, my thoughts flow out onto the page as milk into a cup of tea. I often reflect back on what I have written to determine what I say next. I edit if I don't like something I've written, or I write more if something needs to be explained further. When one prepares a cup of tea, they check the color of the tea, which is similar to how I reflect on my writing. If the tea is too dark, they add milk, which is similar to how I add to my writing to further develop my ideas if I feel they need it. If the tea has too much milk, then one can let the tea bag steep longer to darken the color. When I write, I often look back on my work and edit or rephrase my thoughts to better communicate my ideas.
