Precious Mwambinga

Greetings, I’m Precious Mwambinga. I’m a pre-service English and History teacher currently doing her third year in Education at the University of Johannesburg. I am a fan of reading, education, and travel. I’m also interested in food and movies. I believe that to be a good teacher everything you do must be based on the value of care. The value of care is a fundamental foundation of social justice and drives teachers to be advocates of social justice issues in the school environment because everything begins care. Mental health is one of the social issues that teachers should be concerned about. The COVID-19 pandemic has put a strain on the mental health of learners across the world, that is why I believe that all teachers should be concerned about this social issue.My lifelong dream is to travel and explore all 54 African countries.
