Cynthia Hillson's ministry, Precious Oils Up On the Hill, began in 1991. Cynthia brings fragrances written in the Bible to life. She has been married to David for 39 years. They are the parents of six children and grandparents of seven.

Cynthia is a Modern Day Apothecary who teaches about Biblical fragrances for personal delight, physical health, and spiritual growth.

Cynthia has traveled to Israel 41 times and her knowledge of the flora of Israel can be found in her writings.

Twice a year, Cynthia volunteers at Biblical Tamar Park, an archaeology site located about an hour south of the Dead Sea. Seven periods of Jewish history can be found at Tamar, From the time of Abraham, 4000 years ago to the 1990's when a kibbutz (Ir Ovot) was located at this ancinent site.

Cynthia is on the "Garden of the Ages" Garden Committee. This educational garden will have ancient plants such as myrrh, frankincense and the Balm of Gilead where schoolchildren to adults will be able to experience these ancient treasures.
