Prerna Bakshi is a sociolinguist, writer, poet and activist of Indian origin, who splits her time between Macao and India. Her political essays have been published in The Huffington Post, The Hindu, Countercurrents, Amar Ujala, Deshbandhu, among others. A Pushcart Prize nominee, her poetry has been published in numerous journals, magazines and anthologies, most recently in the Red Wedge Magazine, Off the Coast, TRIVIA: Voices of Feminism, Peril magazine: Asian-Australian Arts & Culture and Wordgathering: A Journal of Disability Poetry and Literature. Her full-length poetry collection, Burnt Rotis, With Love, long-listed for the Erbacce-Press Poetry Award in the UK, is published by Les Éditions du Zaporogue (Denmark) and is available to order now.
