‘Prerna’ is a networking forum for women across India, initiated by women employees of RBI, Lucknow.

The need for women to network, share experience, and support, cannot be overemphasized. Calling attention to gender issues, professional connection and strategies for professional development, corporate social responsibility and personal connect, ‘Prerna’ was launched on 16th march, 2012 to network /organize women in R.B.I to:

• Contribute in many areas from working towards levelling the field and creating safe equal opportunity environment, to encourage women to engage in the economic process in equal measure, promote gender equality ,support increase in female participation in workforce.
• Create safe environment for women and initiate and support measures which promote mentoring /experience sharing to promote women in leadership roles in corporate /governance.
• Initiate and support measures towards protecting environment.

I invite women staff members (past and present) to come join /start a conversation. Your thoughts, vision, concerns, on well almost anything are most welcome. It’s a broad spectrum. Share a fun filled family vacation moment, the film u liked or hated your views on how to create a safe/equal opportunity environment for women etc.
