Preston Pelham

Hello, my name is Preston Pelham. My favorite activity or hobby as you may call it is golf. The game of golf has taken me to a myriad of places, and allowed me to meet a broad collection of people, but for the majority I play out of Highland Country Club in LaGrange, Georgia with the same four people. Throughout my golf career I have been able to meet several influential people such as Adrian Beltre, who is a hall of fame baseball player, George Clooney, and even Jack Nicklaus. In addition, golf has helped me expand upon one of my other favorite hobbies, which is traveling. The game of golf has taken me to places such as: the North Carolina mountains, the arid Nevada desert, all the way to the coast of the Domican Republic. One of my favorite aspects of golf is the serenity that comes with it whether it be the nice weather, views, or camaraderie it makes for a great afternoon. Golf has also helped mold me into the person I am today. Over the last six years I have been playing golf, it has taught me a plentitude of lessons, and given me a variety of core values that I find to be important. Personally I find that one of the best traits someone can have is integrity, and I believe this can be transpired through golf due to it’s significance within the game. Therefore, I credit most of my success thus far in life to golf because I believe it has bestowed all the essential tools to be successful in life upon me, and without it I can not even begin to imagine where I would be today.
