Preston Carter Melbourne-Weaver
My name is Preston Carter Melbourne-Weaver. I always use four names because, at the Cronkite school, they taught us that we need to create our own brand. Whether using my middle name along with my hyphenated last names seems funny, arrogant, or odd to you, it stands out. And once you meet me, it should all make sense. I’m a very straightforward person who was never taught how to properly butter someone up. That doesn’t mean I don’t know how to be polite or charming. I get a great satisfaction out of making people laugh, but know when something is serious and needs to get done. I take great pride in my work, and when I approach something, I go all out. I love Disney, and rather than just getting an annual pass and visiting frequently, I decided that I’d start a blog about it, and then do a 7-month long Disney College Program, where I worked at the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. New media excites me like no other. I love Facebook, Twitter, and just about any app that I can integrate into either network. Creating online communities where people can discuss their passion for a brand or product, which is what I did with Disney, is a thrilling experience. I like to think I see things differently than most people. By throughly examining every aspect of something, dissecting it, researching and using my knack for people that makes my humor successful, I feel that my approach to things is different than most others.
