Roosevelt Presume

Orlando, Florida

I have ten years of experience working behind the lines as a paralegal. The career was rewarding, however, ultimately I felt it was time to return to school to and pursue my life-long dream of becoming an attorney.
My passion for the law started when I was in middle school during the O.J. Simpson trial. I was captivated by the court room poise and presence of Jonnie Cochran. Watching him meticulously argue his case hooked. I knew then I want to be a lawyer, particularly, a trial lawyer.
Sometime between middle school and the 2004 when I graduated from Penn. State I lost my desire to continue school. I got out of college making decent money and felt a career as a paralegal was fitting. Though it was supposed to be a temporary job, I ended up loving it and staying in the field. One day while at work I had an epiphany: I am not living life to its fullest potential. I reinvigorated my passion and took up the challenge of finally pursuing my dream to be a lawyer.
