I have a strong passion to teach young minds and help them to grow into well rounded, responsible and successful citizens of tomorrow. My greatest strengths are to influence, guide and motivate students, to be engaged thinkers and ethical citizens with an entrepreneurial spirit.
I am an innovative high school science and technology educator with over 23 years of international teaching experience teaching 4 different curriculums across Japan, India, and Sweden. Passionate about igniting curiosity and fostering critical thinking in STEM, I continuously implement advanced pedagogical methods and digital tools in my teaching. My commitment to educational excellence was recognized with the prestigious Ingvar Lindqvist Award from The Royal Swedish Academy of Science.
My academic credentials include a Master in Psychology, and, a Bachelor of Education from India, and an MBA from BTH, Karlskrona. In addition, I continuosly update myself through courses KTH and Stockholm University.
Beyond the classroom, I serves as a Scientix and Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) Ambassador for Sweden. Recently, I was appointed a member of the Government STEM Strategy Delegation. I am Erasmus projects coordinator at my school. I currently manage several ERASMUS initiatives involving more than ten European countries, including projects such as "Sustainable Fashion among Teenagers Across Europe," "New STEPS Safe Future," and "United Europe from North to South" to name a few.
Leveraging my extensive international network, I invite diverse role models into the classroom, enriching students' perspectives on STEM and preparing them to thrive in a globalized world.
On personal front, my husband and I are proud parents of two amazing young men who mean everything to us.
Did I mention about my friends? I am one blessed to be friends with so many wonderful people who make my life happier and cheerful!
