My name is Cali, I was born in Los Angeles, California. Growing up I had a passion for everything. I wanted to be a lawyer, veterinarian, a boxer, and game designer the last thing I was thinking about was becoming a photographer. I grew up in many places my mom was Military to that allowed us to travel all across the United States. This allowed me to see all the different sides of my country. I lived in New York, Texas , Oklahoma, Las Vegas, Florida, Virginia, Maryland and everywhere in between. It wasnt until I got into highschool that I thought about photography. I went to Meadowbrook Highschool straight out of Richmond Virginia,that offered photography 101, however i could not afford to take the class even though it was only forty dollars. Even though I didnt take the class, I still saved up bought a cheep poloroid camera and started taking pictures. THE PICTURES WERE TERRIBLE. But i loved them! Before I knew anything about picture editing software such as photoshop and lightroom, I was editing my pictures using programs like paint, and microsoft word to add banners and writing. I didnt even know at the time that there were careers in the things that I loved to do. By the time I finished highschool I had to moved to Diberville, Mississippi and iI gave up on photography and everything to seek something more practical, so when i started college I majored in psychology to understand human motivation and thought processes. I went to school and worked in the medical field for three boring years until one day I was looking online and saw a camera it was a Nikon D7100 I instantly fell in LOVE! I didnt care that the camera was $1000 and i didnt have two times to rub together I felt like i needed it! So, after saving for five LONG MONTHS, I threw caution to the wind and bought the camera. And I have to say it was the best decision of my life.
