So, you want to know about me....I'm flattered. Well, here is a little snip-it of my life. I had a pretty normal life before July 1, 2011. That was my BC life. The BC stands for "before cancer." Now I am in my AD life, "after diagnosis." Oh, I'm not the one with cancer, my little boy Sam is the one with cancer. Leukemia. Diagnosed at the age of 2 1/2. I am married to a wonderful man named Rick, and I have an older son named Eli. I started this blog to document my/our journey with childhood cancer. I am trying to embrace my new life. It's been difficult, but I am trying. I am trying to embrace my new title "cancer mom." Not really a title I ever wanted, but I have it now....I have to work with it, and this blog is part of this journey.
