As chair of Monarch Holdings, Priam Sen seeks out and acts on opportunities in various industries across the world. He focuses on impact investing and distressed assets as well as patent investing, primarily working with mid-sized companies with records of revenue goal achievement and smaller companies with high growth potential. In service to Monarch as chief executive officer (CEO) since early 2000, Priam Sen has now taken on semi-retired status to focus on his personal interests and goals.

A committed philanthropist, Priam Sen contributes to organizations that promote the arts and culture. He also produces music, films, and documentaries and is a collector of art. An avid traveler as well, his favorite destination categories are safaris and retreats.

Mr. Sen further stands out as a philosopher and former member of several think tanks, including the Carnegie Council and the National Committee on American Foreign Policy. He enjoys drawing on his diverse professional and intellectual background, which also includes higher education in computer science.
