Rebecca Price

Greetings, kindred spirits.

I am nomadic. I lived in Papua New Guinea for 15 years and, as a result, love to globetrot.

I attend Asbury University as a rising senior and double creative writing and journalism major with a Spanish minor. I am the Executive Editor of the award-winning Asbury Collegian and a Writing Tutor at the Center for Academic Excellence.

I've had some wonderful experiences during my time at Asbury, including reporting at the London 2012 Olympics through the NBC-affiliate LEX-18 with eight other Asbury journalism students.

I am an aspiring poet and journalist. I’m obsessed with Spanish. I think in pictures. If I could just sit all day and hold a bunny in one hand and a puppy in the other, I would do it. I like coffee with my oxygen.

As the incomparable Shel Silverstein once wrote: “If you are a dreamer, come in. If you are a dreamer, a wisher, a liar, a hope-er, a pray-er, a magic bean buyer, if you’re a pretender come sit by my fire for we have some flax golden tales to spin. Come in! Come in!”
