Priest Jason Samuel

Episcopal priest Jason Samuel has dedicated his life to supporting the Episcopal Church and the Christian community at large. First educated at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, where he earned a bachelor of arts in theology, he would go on to earn a master of divinity from Nashotah House Theological Seminary in Nashotah, Wisconsin. In 1992, Jason Samuel became an assistant clergy at Saint Mark’s Episcopal Church in Milwaukee and would later act as rector at Saint David’s Episcopal Church in New Berlin, Wisconsin.
In 1997, Jason Samuel found a home with The Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration in Lake St. Louis, Missouri. A vicar at what was then a mission, he now leads the congregation as rector, having built the church into an Episcopal parish. During his time in Lake St. Louis, the priest has tackled numerous church affairs including the duties of general convention deputy or alternate deputy four times since 2000. He has also served on the Diocesan Council three times and has twice been the president of the Diocesan Convocation.
