 Career Perspective—Three years of working in a hospital setting (Mercy Hospital: Hot Springs, Arkansas). Career in various medical positions. Position in surgery (G.I. Lab) lends directly to lessons/discussions to anatomical (body) systems. Experience also leads to positive discussions for students who may have interest in pursuing medical field.

 Interpersonal Skills and Curriculum development -- Develop curriculum that challenges and reaches all young learners to inspire them to achieve further academic goals. Enthusiasm and interest in addressing the needs of all students by exposing them to materials and experiences that will prepare them for further education and careers.

 Leadership & Team Building -- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and leaders to represent the interests of students, parents and guardians.
