Hey Paleo Eaters, Cross-fitters, Health Gurus, Athletes and those new to eating Paleo,
I am a graduate from UC Davis where I studied Nutrition. Growing up I was involved in school athletics and had a passion for being active outdoors as well as in the weight room on rainy days. As my passion grew for living a healthy active lifestyle my joy for cooking clean expanded as well. Being diagnosed with Celiacs and a dairy intolerance in 2007 forced me to avoid such foods and discover new alternatives to recipes that once contained the poisons that caused me intense pain. After a year of avoiding gluten and dairy I truly realized how amazing I felt without consuming those things and how foods have an incredible effect on our bodies, our energy levels, our skin, and our moods. Over the years I have switched over to what many call the “Paleo Lifestyle” and have experimented with many recipes for Paleo snacks, meals and desserts and have a passion to share my knowledge to the best of my ability to help motivate and inspire others to eat clean and give them the opportunity to live a healthy lifestyle. All posted recipes will be Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Sugar Free, Grain Free, Corn Free and Soy Free. I will also share tips for fueling those with active lifestyles as well as workout routines and exercises. CrossFit Level 1 Trainer as of June 2013.
