Hello my name is Amy,

I am a 28year old female from Australia.

I have been told that due to some events early in my childhood I developed some mental illnesses which lead to medication trials and psychiatric hospitalisation throughout my childhood and adolescence. Medication was apart of my daily life from the age of 11 till around 22 when I decided myself to stop taking them, I then became reliant on alcohol and would binge drink my problems away.

I have a diagnosis of borderline personality disorder, dissociative disorder and currently now with a provisional diagnosis of a mood disorder. I experience symptoms of anxiety an obsessive compulsive traits. I can also present with symptoms of depression such as anhedonia,insomnia, poor appetite, low mood and poor concentration.

I have made this blog for a way for me to vent and hopefully one day look back on to see how far I've come.
