Prince Will the songwriter, real name William McCoy, is a songwriter from Hot Springs, Arkansas. He was introduced to music in the church choir under his mother Janice McCoy as the choir director at the early age of 8. From then on music has been the love of his life. After high school, William formed a group named Atrio, with James Williams and DeAngelo Hicks. The group eventually moved to Los Angeles California to pursue their dreams in hopes of landing a recording contract. After working with the likes of singer/songwriter Jason Edmonds ( After 7, Whiteny Houston, Marques Houston, Tyress), producer Los da Mystro ( J.Holiday, The dream, Usher, etc...) and Greedy Greg (Dj Quick, AMG, etc..) The group was separated due to member James Williams life threatening illness. The group never recovered from the separation and William was the only member who stayed in California to not give up on his first love, music. William eventually realized the skills he had in songwriting and focused more on songwriting rather than being an artist. Today William is writing songs in the genre of Pop, Rnb, Hip Hop, and country for various independent artist and tv/films.
