Prince BOKO GOUNOU

Driven by the conviction of leaders like the former President of the FIA and UN Special Envoy, Prince deeply believes that the automotive sector is not just about industry or commerce: it is a major lever for development, safety, and geopolitics.

Prince is a bilingual automotive and road safety professional specializing in vehicle safety and strategic partnerships. Based at Benin's National road safety authority (CNSR), he supports the cooperation unit in coordinating partnerships with international organizations including PIARC, AARSLA, the FIA FOUNDATION, the World Bank, WHO and more. He is also a proud member of the Global Youth Coalition for Road Safety.

Passionate about the automotive industry, Prince is deeply committed to saving lives through vehicle safety, and post-crash resilience. His mid-term vision is dual-focused: pioneering localized vehicle assessment tools, including the NCAP-inspired MONTO SCORE, while researching the adaptability of a modern, US-inspired first response and emergency system tailored to Benin.

Prince is also the Curator and director of partnerships of TEDxCotonou, where he leads one of Benin's leading platforms for ideas and dialogue. Through TEDx, he builds partnerships across the public, private and development sectors, collaborating with organizations such as CANAL+, GIZ, UNFPA, MOOV Africa, Sofitel and more.

Last, but definitely not the least, Prince speaks English and French and can translate.
