Sometimes, your large envelopes or packages are going to be too heavy to ship via First-Class Mail. Or you need to make sure that your mailpiece arrives on time. In those cases, the USPS offers Priority Mail, an expedited service that will get your mail to anywhere in the US within 2 - 3 days. Priority Mail postage is determined based on the distance, weight and dimensions of the mailpiece. If you are shipping heavy items across the U.S., we recommend using one of the USPS Flat-Rate Envelope or Box options as they are the same rate regardless of weight or distance.

The USPS does provide free Priority Mail envelopes, boxes and labels, so be sure to order as many as you need directly from the Stamps.com Store.

The best option for printing postage for Priority Mail is to print out print addresses, postage and tracking information in one easy step and save up to 11% on Priority Mail.

If you can't use a shipping label, you can use NetStamps or mailing labels to print Priority Mail postage. However, you will not receive a postage discount, and the USPS requires that you affix USPS Label 400 to your package in order to provide a tracking barcode. These labels are available for free from any USPS Post Office or the Stamps.com Store.
